This afternoon we attended a ballet program at UVSC. My daughter Ellie is taking ballet lessons and her teacher was in a performance. Unfortunately, Ellie was quite sick and coughed through the whole show and didn’t want to be there.
Of course, she wasn’t the only one who didn’t want to go… 
But, I persevered and was pleasantly surprised. About 2/3 of the dances were done to modern music and it was more like watching a modern dance recital except that the dancers were doing ballet moves. It was actually pretty neat. I’ll definately go again when they have another performance.
