I have upgraded my blog engine and have decided to start a new blog as part of this process. The new url to the new blog is: The Hawker Squawker. The rss feed for the new blog is the following:

Welcome to my space

Well I've decided to go ahead and host my own site, rather than rely on 3rd parties to do it. This way if the site goes down it's my own fault and I can deal with it myself. Also, i have some ideas of stuff i'd eventually like to do, and i'll definately need my own server for it.

I'd love to hear any suggestions anyone has on ways to improve the site. As time goes by I'll add more and more itneresting content. But for starters, I'm going to host my blog and a gallery of photos. We'll see where it goes from there.

I've had blogs hosted at other sites, but they're all gone ... so I'm going to start fresh. Hope you enjoy my ramblings.
